SUMMARY:Somerset Spring Trip 2020
DESCRIPTION:Probably arrive at lunchtime to avoid the morning high tide… and plans to approach the red slab area on Brean (Fort Crags). For some it may be a first trip out so we will be climbing in areas offering some good introductory routes. The cliffs here are 10-12m high and are reasonably furnished with holds. A good introduction to trad climbing and a chance to get out on a new venue for the Club.  \nPlans to spend a finishing hour over at Cheddar Gorge. Probably attempt a few sport routes on Arch Rock… the plan to give Jake a chance to practice some sport climbing before we head out to France in the Summer. \nServices: Shops on the road through Weston. \nFood: Bring your own today. \nAccommodation: One day only! \nTransport: Jim driving from the Chew Valley… \n
