SUMMARY:Hound Tor or Bust
DESCRIPTION:Join some of the Southern Set for a day (or possibly two) out at Hound Tor for bouldering and trad.\nWith any luck\, we might be able to stay over and climb Sunday. Currently\, the group stands at 4 and\nwe can have 6… though that might change too. If a second group ventures here we will keep our\ndistance and wave. \nPlenty of easy to access bouldering and lots of trad at introductory to intermediate grades\, so\nenough to go at. A reasonable place to learn to lead if you need to build the mileage. Easy access\nand only 5 minutes from the car. Good walking in the area for those who prefer a stroll.\nIf you are interested\, then please contact Jim and he will coordinate. Hope to see you there. \nAccommodation and food \nBring your own (food and tent)! Although there is a (slim) chance…! \nServices\nNot what they used to be… Better to be self-sufficient until we get our bearings… though there was\nalways a dodgy burger bar in the car park and there is no reason to expect it to move on for a mere\npandemic… I’m sure it produced worse. \nTransport and travel\nTravel on your own by private car (preferably diesel)… it’s apparently the Eco thing to do now! \nOrganiser: Jim McCall
