SUMMARY:Return to the Cairngorm Winter 2023
DESCRIPTION:Info:\nJoin Jim and Jake on their yearly pilgrimage to the home of Scottish Winter. This would serve as a good introduction to Scottish winter climbing if you haven’t been before. Drive up on Saturday 11th February 2023 and climb Sunday\, Monday and Tuesday before the drive home on Wednesday 15th February 2023. Staying at the SYHA in Aviemore. Winter hill-walking and low grade winter routes available in the Northern Corries. More punchy stuff available too for the experienced. Adverse weather and avalanche conditions can confound efforts but we normally get something done. This would serve as a good introduction to Scottish winter climbing if you haven’t been before. Please get in touch with Jim if you are keen. \n  \nServices:\nBanks and food shops available in Aviemore. \n  \nAccommodation:\nStaying at Aviemore SYHA… Details HERE. \n  \nFood:\nProbably best to be self-sufficient but a there are plenty of pubs in the area. The hostel has kitchens. \n  \nTransport:\nCar is easiest. Train links to Aviemore an option.
