SUMMARY:Fontainbleau Fun in the Forest
DESCRIPTION:Join us for bouldering and walking in the Forêt de Fontainbleau in Spring 2019. In March 2018\, Dave G and Andrew did a recce and are keen to get back for a second visit. It’s not just about the bouldering. The forest is a vast recreational resource\, and cyclists\, runners\, backpackers and families with picnics go there to lose themselves in nature. The bouldering is some of the best in the world with thousands of lumps of sandstone spread across the area. A bakery van visits most mornings with pastries and baguettes. Apart from this\, shopping for food and essentials is in the village or at the hypermarket. Both need vehicle transport\, which we will have. Good restaurants\, shops and bars in the village. \nWe will drive down via Eurotunnel on Wednesday 10th April\, aiming to arrive by early evening. This will give three days of activity before we head back on Sunday morning.
