Pleasant coastal walking if that rocks the boat… Baggy offers an exciting introduction to sea cliff climbing and is big. This is the first Club trip here so we will consider it a bit of a recce for future trips. Identify the crags\, identify the abseil descents and get on the classics… Club members should practice abseiling with a prussik knot before attending this trip. Contact Jim for details. \n\nServices: Food and cash points in Croyde. \n\nAccommodation: This is interesting… I have booked a National Trust Bothy\, Heddon Orchard Bothy\, Heddon Valley https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/holidays/devon/heddon-orchard-bothy . The bothy is about an hour from Baggy Point and roughly in the direction to home… for me. It costs £40.00 and sleeps 4. There is a pub next door… I plan to drive there from Baggy Point on Saturday night and eat at the pub. Drive home Sunday\, with a possibility to stop off on the way home. The first 3 people who request a floor space (bring a sleeping bag) can have a space for £10.00 each.\n\nFood: Available in Croyde.
