DESCRIPTION:Join Jake and Jim on a trip to Snowdonia… staying at Idwal Cottage and aiming to climb multi-pitch routes to the summits as the weather will be good! Join us at Idwal and on a rope! Probably climbing in the Idwal valley or Llanberis… plenty of time to get those Classic Rock routes in… \nItinerary \nArrive Friday after work and get sorted at the YHA. Plan to follow the weather but routes in the Idwal valley and Llanberis Pass are the big options. Plan to climb Saturday and Sunday and then return afternoon Monday. SUMMARY:Jim and Smokey Dave’s 50th Birthday Climbing Trip
DESCRIPTION:Join Jim and Dave as they both turn 50 and plan to climb 50 routes each over the weekend… What more is there to say? Be part of 100 routes and live forever in our associated glory! Meet up at YHA Edale and make sure we get 15 climbs in on Friday… probably means bouldering. Saturday is a classic Gritstone day (30 routes!) … What else would you expect? \nSunday… probably a low level option to get the numbers up but who knows?… Eat and drink at the YHA… \nAccommodation: YHA Edale https://www.yha.org.uk \nServices: Hostel has a members’ kitchen\, or  will provide 3 meals a day on request when booking. There is a bar and they take cards. You will probably drive through Hathersage and Hope en route… there are basic services in each village. There are no cash machines so pick up cash before arrival. \nMeet: See you at YHA Edale on Friday! Let either Dave of me know if you are coming.
