DESCRIPTION:Join Jim back in Somerset for Trad\, Bouldering\, Sport and some Hill-Walking (at a push)… Something for everyone.\n\nInfo: Join Jim back in Somerset for Trad\, Bouldering\, Sport and some Hill-Walking (at a push)… Something for everyone. Meet up at Jim’s house on Friday 1st July 2023 and climb at local venues on Friday\, Saturday and Sunday… Venues include: Avon\, Cheddar\, Goblin Combe (if we can find a crag)\, Sand Point and quite a few quarries… if we must. Bouldering venues from the new guidebook… plenty to go at. \n \nServices: Post Office and local shop up the road. Cash machine if the link is working. 3 pubs within 10 minute drive. We may end up on a visit to one of them on Sunday afternoon. \n \nFood and Accommodation:\nFree at Jim’s house. Book early and you may get a bed. Otherwise\, bring a sleeping bag and floor space available. If you need privacy\, then bring a tent as the garden is big. Dogs very welcome but they are not allowed to chase the sheep! Or the cows! Or my next door neighbour\, the farmer will have words with me. I will cook evening meals on the BBQ and there is always something for breakfast. Bring your own lunches and alcohol. Anyone travelling from Denmark\, please bring some Tuborg Classic… and just to point out\, this is not available at the airport\, so you need to buy it and put it in your hold luggage… [I know!] Thanks…\n \nTransport and Travel:\nPlenty of parking at Jim’s. Bristol by bus or train and then local buses out to West Harptree available. Get in touch with Jim if you need a pick up. If any Danes are keen\, then get in touch with Jim.
