Perfect ice conditions, low avalanche predictions and some reasonable weather… That wasn’t expected! 10 members attended and several ascents listed by groups climbing including Crotched Gully II, Aladdin’s Couloir I/II, Aladdin’s Mirror I and Aladdin’s Mirror Direct IV,4. The latter of which saw the recovery of Jim’s glove, carelessly abandoned some 200m above.
Some reasonable walks too including a trip round the Loch and another to the summit of Cairngorm via Stag Rocks.
All in all, a very successful trip and thanks to all those who made the pilgrimage north. Watch out for next year!
