Brynna, Micheal and I got an early start on Saturday morning leaving Copenhagen at 09:00. Straight over the Bridge (thanks for the BroPass Eddie!) and then north to Kullaberg. Dropped our kit off at the DBKK hut and then arrived at the far car park, just below the lighthouse, with a view to Bjornviken… Couldn’t find it easily so went to Stenstugorna and ticked off some routes. As the temperatures were -20C and feeling like -60C, we set up some top ropes and got 12 routes in… a bit chilly though.
Back to the hut and log fire and good evening, then straight out in the morning for a proper recce of Bjornviken. Just as cold today. Found the access but it was all a bit exposed and cold so a quick retreat to Bjornen and a bit of set up practice, a climb up the 2 star Severe Monsterparodi and then retreat. Micheal wanted some quick abseil practice on the nursery slabs… fully iced today, which made abseiling fun… then straight back to the car and home.
Back home in Copenhagen for 15:00… Enjoy the pictures,
Jim
