Friday found a few of us at the campsite in Edale… some with deluxe camping (I know!). Some evasive climbing on Friday for a few and then Friday night found us in the Old Nag’s Head in Edale… (just over the road from the campsite). Saturday saw dry weather get better and a good visit to Burbage North. Short routes meant a number of ascents and typically, we started at the far end and worked our way back to the cars. Notable ascents included Long Tall Sally (well done Nic)… and Andrew got an early leader fall in on Greeny Crack to set the bar for ‘Best Leader Fall’ for 2021-22…
A late lunch stop in Hathersage (Hello Stone Monkey) and then up to Stanage Plantation for a few finishing routes.
Others joined us at the campsite and a short AGM (you’ve read the Report!)… before a pleasant night in the local. Sunday was threatening rain so an early start got a few of us to Birchen for some star ticks. Families arrived later and the rain held off.
Better than last year and more climbs achieved…
