The AGM unofficially began with the arrival of Eddie and Lorenz (The Danish Contingent) on Wednesday in Somerset, who, after quickly being picked up by Jim, were off to an evening of bouldering at the local crag. Thursday saw sea cliff climbing in the Costa Del Severn, sport climbing in Cheddar Gorge, and a BBQ dinner back at the Somerset Bunkhouse (thank you Andrew!).
Friday, and meet up with more members in Snowdonia for an accent up First Pinnacle Rib, then a big night back in Sycharth at Keith and Gay’s country residence. Their wonderful welcome and hospitality made it the best AGM location yet!
Saturday saw climbing in Ogwen at the Milestone Buttress, Idwal Slabs, and Little Tryfan.
This was followed by another evening at Keith and Gay’s country residence, which included another fantastic BBQ dinner for all. Lots of van attendance too!
Sunday included trips to Trevor quarry and Monument Boulders with lots of sports, trad and bouldering within a 40 minute distance.
