Record numbers of Club members turned up on Friday and the hut was at capacity… with others joining us for the Saturday.

The hut was all we remembered it to be (previous trips there in 2013 and 2016)… more than adequate for our needs and great to be back. The convenience for staying here really does mean we get to max out the climbing time.

Lots of bouldering, easy and hard Trad to go at and so plenty of grade pushing and one very impressive fall… Wait to you see the video (no harm done and all well for the climber).

The process of all contributing to food and sharing prepared food on site all worked well and kept costs down… We plan to do this again next visit.

We have booked the hut again for next May/June. Accommodation costs have gone up a bit but we should be able to keep costs for the weekend at about £40.00 a person. Get in touch with Jim if you want a place…
