The Club’s 2018-19 AGM will be held again at the Carlswark Cottage in Stoney Middleton, near to lots of Grit and Limestone climbing. The hut belongs to the Derbyshire Pennine Club and will provide a great base for getting out climbing or hiking in the peak district over the course of the weekend. Crags such as Froggatt, Curbar, Baslow and Birchen are only a five minutes drive away, as well as some limestone crags within walking distance of the hut. We have booked the hut from Friday 26^th April to Sunday 28^nd April but there are limited bed spaces so if you want to come along then do get in touch to reserve your spot. Avoid disappointment and get booked in early.

Communal food will be included for arrival on the Friday night, breakfast on the Saturday and Sunday mornings as well as snacks etc. for the rest of the stay. The total cost per person for the weekend, including the accommodation and food, is £30.

On the Saturday evening we will hold the Club’s AGM in the hut and then go to the local pub (across the road) for food to celebrate the year’s mountaineering adventures and plan for the next lot…I will be in touch to get food orders for Saturday night.

The usual local amenities of cash point, shop and petrol station are a short drive from the hut that has parking adjacent to it.
