This year’s AGM sees a return to Keith’s house on the Welsh Borders with access to Snowdonia, the mountain routes in mid Wales as well as some trad, sport and bouldering at some nearby venues. 1 hour to the parking for Will o’ the Wisp (Classic Rock HVD), 1 hour 15 mins to the carpark for Cadar Idris and about 1 hour 45 minutes to Capil Curig. Arrive Friday evening for a BBQ and plan Saturday’s activities. The AGM will be held on Saturday evening at an agreed time. As always, an agenda will be posted early, and any reports will be sent out at least a month before. Typically, we climb locally on the Sunday morning.

Accommodation: Keith’s place offers some pod style accommodation for up to 6 people (shared across two pig sty pods) a cabin for two and plenty of riverside camping/van spots. The venue also includes a private pub (with Pool table and darts), a climbing wall, hot tub and sauna.

Food: Bring your favourite BBQ food.

Services: Oswestry is 8 miles away, which provides everything most people will need.

Transport: Car is best… Otherwise, arrive at Gobowen by train or Oswestry by bus and we will pick you up if you give us enough time to coordinate.
