Join some of the Southern Set for a day (or possibly two) out at Hound Tor for bouldering and trad.
With any luck, we might be able to stay over and climb Sunday. Currently, the group stands at 4 and
we can have 6… though that might change too. If a second group ventures here we will keep our
distance and wave.

Plenty of easy to access bouldering and lots of trad at introductory to intermediate grades, so
enough to go at. A reasonable place to learn to lead if you need to build the mileage. Easy access
and only 5 minutes from the car. Good walking in the area for those who prefer a stroll.

Accommodation and food

Bring your own (food and tent)! Although there is a (slim) chance…!

Services
Not what they used to be… Better to be self-sufficient until we get our bearings… though there was
always a dodgy burger bar in the car park and there is no reason to expect it to move on for a mere
pandemic… I’m sure it produced worse.

Transport and travel
Travel on your own by private car (preferably diesel)… it’s apparently the Eco thing to do now!
