    Costa Blanca Climbing, Spain

    Costa Blanca is rightly regarded as one of the best destinations anywhere for winter sun climbing (So the bible says). Benign climate and massive amount of rock available. Cliffs available vary from tiny roadside buttresses, to long multi-pitch full-day trad routes and ridges (you are better of bringing a small rack for the longer routes, and ridges).

  • The Return to Somerset

    Return to the Club’s most southern UK bunkhouse and aim to boulder, sport and trad climb… and then drink cider (joking!)… all within 20 minutes. This was (probably) the best trip of the year in 2019 so don’t miss out! Friday evening bouldering at Ubley Warren Rocks.   • Lorenz and Jim Snowdonia Trip May 2020

    Jim and Lorenz to return to Snowdonia, in a bid to try some Classic mountain routes… and finally complete Lorenz’s conversion from Swiss Machine (There’s a bolt! Clip it!) to Trad Master (I’ve just led Yellow Slab with 2 nuts and a sling!)… You will need to operate as an independent team to join us on this trip as we are determined to tick off some key routes and may have Andrew joining us on the rope already.

    Join some of the Southern Set for a day (or possibly two) out at Hound Tor for bouldering and trad.
    With any luck, we might be able to stay over and climb Sunday. Currently, the group stands at 4 and
    we can have 6… though that might change too. If a second group ventures here we will keep our
    distance and wave.
