Started climbing in South Africa where I completed my first outdoor leads on sport routes and then in Norway while I was working there. On my return to the UK, I met Paul who took me out to Stanage for my first Trad climb. Through Paul I met Jim who guided me on my first mutli-pitch up the East Face of Tryfan. Lost Boot climb with Jim and James was a very exposed route that I won’t forget in a hurry!
Due to family and house commitments, I don’t get out as much as I like but I’m still keen and want to get out and boulder, sport, or Trad climb (single or multi-pitch) and I would love to do more alpine and ice once I find the time.
