The last 2 years have truly been a great experience for me, having been winter climbing up the north face of ‘the Ben’ in 2012 & in the Cairngorms in 2013. As for rock climbing, regular trips to ‘the wall’ gives me great confidence and I am looking forward to ticking off those Classic routes when I can. Little Tryfan is highly recommended as a place to ease yourself in to the crag as well.
Regular trips with the club are a necessity now, whether it be a day out at Stanage or weekend away in the Lakes.
Best Winter Route – No 2 Gully, The Ben.
Best Rock Climb – Little Tryfan.
Best Classic Rock Route – Flying Buttress, Stanage Edge.
Next Target – Little Chamonix, The Lakes.
The outdoors beckon…
