A really good turn out with 13 Club members meeting up to avoid the midges at Stanage and retire to Burbage North. A great venue for either early leads or ticking off the grades. Members spread out across a number of campsites but Thorpe Farm in Hatherage gets a mention for its cheap prices and flexibility. Sunday bought us to Birchen Edge for more of the same. It’s a short crag so everyone felt they did a lot. We returned to Stanage in the afternoon, once the midges had been blown away.
Monday took us to Burbage South for a boulder session (and the easiest V4 in the Peak) before setting off home.
We had a great time, hope you enjoy the pictures.
