Great weather, exciting abseils into the base of the crag and wonderful climbing on clean, dry slabs… and exceptional photography from our Club pilot and photographer… Baggy Point offers exciting climbing at most grades although the access can be somewhat daunting for those who haven’t climbed on sea cliffs before… 

The campsite at North Morte Farm is very reasonably priced and super clean and a short walk to ’The Ship Aground’ who were willing to take bookings for a large group. Some members took to visiting for the day and 13 of us met up in the car park to climb. 

The Club abseil rope (100m) was in use and meant that access to the crease of the Long Rock, then down to the base was easy enough to protect.
