Two of the Martin brother travelled up on Friday and Jules joined them for some sport at Burrington Coombe before I met them at Ubley Warren for an evening bouldering session. A successful (6A) traverse and then back to the garden for BBQ and hero beers…

Saturday started wet and there were some understandable cancellations… but the weather dried out by 11:00 at Brean… though the tide was high and we missed out on the big traverse we had our eye on (a bit wet). A few abseils in and a few climbs out and then we headed to Chopper Cove. That has potential… As does a few quarries we recc’ed on Sunday morning for next year, probably pushing a sport quarry focus in 2026.

Next year’s trip will be later in the month to avoid any access bans over nesting birds.
