AGM in the Peak 2026

Some of us arrived early again and got to climb at Stanage, Burbage North and Froggatt. Then a melancholy visit to Yarncliff Quarry, being the first in over two decades to see this once popular crag. Times have changed but Yarncliffe still offered a range of good climbing over a range of grades and, later in the trip, gave us that all important desensitization for quarry climbing before a visit to that quarry of divine status, Millstone Edge. Other visits included some bouldering at Stoney and a later return to Burbage North and Froggatt to chase some routes and some grades.

As ever, the Pennine and Derbyshire Club hut at Stoney, still one of the best huts in the Peak, served us well… as did The Moon. Hope you enjoy the photos.
